Ice Castles is an award-winning frozen attraction located in five cities (Utah, Colorado, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, & New York) across North America. These attractions are built using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and more.
I've been to the Utah Ice Castles twice now and can't say enough good things about it! It is such a fun family-friendly, non-skiing activity for the winter. I do recommend dressing in many layers, including a hat, gloves and even hand warmers if you tend to run cold.
Tips:
Visit the Ice Castles just before sunset (5-5:30 entrance) - just in time for golden hour photos, but still allows you to enjoy the nighttime lights!
Tickets go FAST! Pricing: Mon-Thur tickets are $15 // Fri-Sat are $22 *note they are closed on Sundays.
